The trial of a 19-year-old man
arrested for the murder of two girls at the Stella high school in Vryburg is
expected to resume in the North West High Court in Mahikeng on Monday morning.
Xander Bylsma is accused of killing 17-year-old Sharnelle Hough and
16-year-old Marna Engelbrecht. The bodies of the girls were discovered in the
school hostel in May last year.

killed themselves, but with investigations, it was discovered that they were

denied bail as it was made clear he is a flight risk based on the evidence
presented before court. He wrote to his mother that he plans to flee to
