The family of the late actor Sibusiso
Khwinana, who was the lead in the local movie, Matwetwe say they are not
copying well since he was killed last week.
25-year-old Khwinana was stabbed at a
mall in Pretoria during an alleged attempted robbery while with a friend.
His memorial service will be held at
the TUT Soshanguve campus north of Pretoria on Thursday while his funeral will
take place on Saturday in the city. Khwinana will be buried the Zandfontein
cemetery. Family spokesperson Mpho Thosago says what is most concerning to the
family most is that Khwinana was killed for a mere cellphone …
“The family is not copying very well
because they were still looking up to Sibusiso life like they were looking at
great things and good things to come from Sibusiso as a child of the Khwinana’s.
Unfortunately we lost him. At the moment, the family is busy with the funeral
No one has yet been arrested.
The police’s Mavela Masondo has
appealed to the public to help them track down the killers.
“We are appealing to the community
that if there is anyone with information who can help with the investigation or
help us apprehend the suspect, they can call Crime Stop number on 08600 10111
or call the nearest police station.”
