Giant South African flag being built in Camdeboo, Karoo

One of the oldest towns in South Africa is to be home to a giant South African flag.
The flag outside Graaff-Reinet in the Eastern Cape will be made up of millions of colored desert cacti and succulents, and a four-megawatt solar field. It will be built on previously-barren land in the Camdeboo region of the Karoo. Jayed-Leigh Paulse filed this report…
