Today marks exactly a month ago since that horrific morning my darling husband and I were involved in a car accident. I certainly don’t have the words to explicitly express how I’m coping without him, the pain is too great. I did however feel strong enough to type this caption out to simply say thank you for all of you who have carried my pain and reached out. The DMs, calls, messages, texts…I’ll eventually find the courage to respond to all of them. I’m overwhelmed by the kind of support and love you’ve shown and for that I say thank you a million times over. I am slowly recuperating from the injuries I sustained however my heart is far from healing. For now, this is all I can manage, till then continue to keep me in your prayers.

My darling friend. May you finally rest. You lived, you loved, you laughed. We are shattered, but we know that you're no longer suffering or in pain. You will be missed beyond words, your precious girls will miss you each & every day, but you leave them a legacy that they will forever be proud of, your career, professionalism and exceptional work ethic earned you respect not only from the heads of state, politicians and colleagues you engaged, but the ordinary South Africans whose lives you touched each and everyday. I'll never forget finding you in offices deeply involved in your newspapers of the day, so entrenched in your work and shows. Bra X, forever in our hearts you will remain. This has been hard, and I cannot help but feel that we were robbed of your life, your girls of their father and PSK of her partner. This is all too much to try to understand right now, as i still cannot believe you are gone. Be their guiding light and star as they were yours on these past two years when you needed them most. Go well my friend, you fought so hard, you always had hope, now you rest, may it be eternal peace as you deserve… Hamba Kahle XG. #XolaniGwala 1f494 - SA Celebs Who Lost Spouses In 2019 “We all have two lives. Two weeks ago the nation received the sad news that Xolani Gwala has passed away. Although he opened up about his cancer last year, many had hope because at some point the radio veteran was doing well. He left behind his wife former Miss South Africa Peggy-Sue Khumalo.
