Japanese companies investing in South Africa are concerned with safety and security of their businesses.
This is according to Mariko Kaneko, Director at the African Affairs Department at the Japan Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
She was talking to reporter Glorious Sefako-Musi ahead of the upcoming Tokyo International Conference on African Development to be held in Yokohama, Japan.
TICAD brings together government leaders and business people from the African continent and their Japanese counterparts.
Its objective is to promote high-level policy dialogue between African leaders and development partners.
